The Rain made it more beautiful!
Last Sunday, May 31st we celebrated Pentecost, or the Feast of Descent of the Holy Spirit among the apostles. In the town of Cainta, they hold a procession to mark this event. Sharing with you pictures taken during that day.
Pagkabuhay
Santa Maria Cleofe
Santa Maria ng Betania
San Juan Ebanghelista
San Andres
Santo Tomas
San Judas Tadeo
San Nicodemo
Santa Veronica
Pag-akyat sa Langit
Pagbaba ng Espiritu Santo
"Deep waters cannot quench love, nor floods sweep it away" (Song of Solomon 8:7).
Amidst the hard rain pelting the images and devotees alike, the procession still pushed through. And that is Faith and devotion at its Finest. No matter what happens, no matter the consequences, rain or shine all for the service of God.
My admiration to the organizers, Camareras and the faithful of Cainta.
But I do hope the next time I visit its not raining cats and dogs. I was really eager to take a lot of photos. I was particularly interested in the beautiful image of the Resurrected Christ and his "tapis."
Another reason to celebrate, its the birthday of the Catholic community.
