Antique Imaculada for Sale

While window shopping in Megamall, I saw this on display in one of the furniture/specialty stores (4th floor). I asked about it and was told that it costs a whopping Php 150,000 ++. Upon hearing this, my companion exclaimed, "I can already buy a car with that price." Soooo expensive...but you get your money's worth. And so in my head the debate of practicality vs want ensues...at the end of the day is it right to spend so much for religious images?

But it is beautiful...no doubt about it. Faith of course does not come with a price tag. Salvation comes to those who seek it and believe it.
